Projects

Not every idea stays at the table.

Members of COMPANY are involved in projects that reach well beyond the association. Now and then, one of them deserves a mention.

A toothbrush, machined from a single piece of titanium.

Tyvor 01 is a toothbrush handle cut from a single billet of Grade 5 titanium: forty minutes on a five-axis lathe, forty more at the finishing bench, and no seam anywhere for water to get in. Only the head is replaced. Over ten years that is forty plastic brushes, or one handle.

The first edition is 500 numbered pieces, machined in Biel and shipped from Zürich. The serial is cut into the base while the handle is still on the lathe, and the guarantee follows the owner's name, not the object.

Membership is personal.

COMPANY is deliberately kept small. New members are proposed by an existing member and admitted personally.

An enquiry from someone without a contact in the association is still possible. Either way, a conversation comes first.
